A private press edition containing ten reproductions of wood, stone, and copper engravings by the artist Edward Calvert. Calvert was a disciple of Blake, and a member of the group known as The Ancients. His early, visionary work was relatively unknown and unpublished until the end of the 19th century.

We have two editions available:

a. An edition of 400 copies printed on hand-madeVan Gelder paper
Bound into this copy are 12 leaves of blue paper with 10 tipped in plates
(Slipcase is present but in poor condition, the book itself is in very good condition)

b. An edition of 25 copies, of which this is number 3
Printed on Japan Vellum, with 10 tipped in plates
Glassine dust wrapper with title printed on spine in slipcase
(both slipcase and dust wrapper are in fair condition, the book itself is in very good condition)
