New Arrival: Philip K. Dick Pulp!
Philip K. Dick's "We Can Build You" is among his best. A depressed sadsack and his floundering electronics company construct a self-aware robotic Abraham Lincoln that can think, feel, and act independently: they basically invent the actual Lincoln. This issue of Amazing Stories (they claim to be the "World's Leading Science-Fiction Magazine" and there seems to be no reason to dispute it) contains the first of two parts of a story called "A. Lincoln, Simulacrum" that was apparently the early title of "We Can Build You." Also contains tales by Alexei Panshin, Raymond Gallun, and more. $9.95
