FEATURED: More Grand Guignol Plays

More Grand Guignol Plays, Eliot Crawshay-Williams $57.00 (rare)

A collection of plays performed at London's Grand Guignol Theatre in the 1920s. Inspired by Le Théâtre du Grand-Guignol in Paris, such legends of the London stage as Sybil Thorndike and Noel Coward were involved. Many of the plays were banned and remain unperformed to this day. Crawshay-Williams was a disgraced MP who went on to have a bit of a literary career. This is a collection of four plays: The Compleat Lover, Grensal Green, Teaching Teresa and A Storm in a Breakfast Cup.
